Catawba Island Township Board of Township Trustees

Chairman Gary Mortus called the Public Hearing to order on Tuesday, August 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room of the administration building.
In attendance were Gary Mortus, Matt Montowski, William Rofkar, Karen Shaw, Jim Stouffer, Steve May, and Tony Corona.
Jim Stouffer spoke briefly about the 2003 Catawba Island Club Golf Course Planned Unit Development and their desire to move forward with the next evolution of the CIC Community which will be known as “Fairway Estates of Catawba Island Club”.
Tony Corona presented a map overview of the project and next phase to be constructed next to Fairway Villas. He said the Minor Deviation request is to replace 58 of the presently approved 136 attached condominiums with detached single family style condominiums resulting in shifting of units slightly on the site.
The Trustees discussed the request for a Minor Deviation of the 2003 CIC Golf Course P.U.D.
William Rofkar made a motion to approve the Minor Deviation as requested for 58 single family detached homes at Fairway Estates of Catawba Island Club. Matt Montowski seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried.
Matt Montowski made a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing. William Rofkar seconded the motion. All voted aye. The meeting was adjourned at 7:26 p.m.
