The public hearing regarding the request from Lost Lake Development LLC for a Planned Unit Development #543410 being heard by the Catawba Island Township Trustees was called to order by chairman William Rofkar on March 24, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room. Present were William Rofkar, Robert Schroeder, Gary Mortus, Pat Cerny, Matt Montowski, Jack DeVore, Robert Snyder and Brian Snyder.
Robert Snyder stated they are doing an updated phase one and a proposed phase two.
A book was also provided with the zoning requirements, legal description, development phases and plan, landscape plan, utility plan and architectural plans. The proposed phase two is the parcel that was owned by the Walls family and purchased by Lost Lake Development and this will encompass the PUD, which is eight and one-half acres. They will be duplex homes. William Rofkar stated he attended the hearing held by the Zoning Commission and stated all the requirements in the zoning resolution were met and there was no opposition. When Catawba Bay is completed there will be 225 lots, condos, etc. and seventy or eighty acres. Gary Mortus made a motion to close the public hearing seconded by Robert Schroeder. All voted aye.
