Chairman William Rofkar called the public Zoning Hearing in regard to request #543430 to order at 7:00 p.m. on May 12, 2009 in the conference room.
In attendance: William Rofkar, Robert Schroeder, Gary Mortus, Pat Cerny, Jack Devore, Matt Montowski, Matt Parker, Adam Leser, and Taylor Sigan.
Request #543430 from Miller Boat Line, Inc., 5158 E. Water Street, for a zoning amendment for the north half of lots 5 and 6 of Block 6 (5158 East Water Street) to be rezoned from the R-1 District to the C-3 District. The area is to be used for seasonal paid parking.
Matt Parker spoke on behalf of Miller Boat Line concerning their request. He stated it would not be a year-round use parking lot like the other Miller Boat Line parking lots and police and fire would have access to enter the lot.
Gary Mortus made a motion to close the discussion for request #543430 to the public. Bill Rofkar seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously.
After a brief discussion Gary Mortus made a motion to approve request #543430, seconded by Robert Schroeder. Robert Schroeder, aye; Gary Mortus, aye, William Rofkar, aye. Motion approved effective in 30 days.
