MINUTES OF THE CATAWBA ISLAND BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

JANUARY 8, 2025

Attendees

No attendees.

Chairman Bryan Baugh called the meeting to order at 5:55 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Board members in attendance included: Doug Blackburn, Brian Caldwell, Rebecca Dubber, Bill Baker, and Alternate Mike Schenk. Todd Bickley, Zoning Inspector/Secretary was also in attendance.

Rebecca Dubber moved to dispense the procedural reading by the Chairman. Doug Blackburn seconded the motion and the motion passed.

New Business

No new business to conduct.

Old Business

Case #158959 Catawba Moorings, Inc.

Case #158959 remained tabled.

Reorganization

Rebecca Dubber made a motion to approve the following Slate of Officers for 2025:

Chairman Bryan Baugh
Vice-Chairman Doug Blackburn
Secretary Todd Bickley

The motion was seconded by Brian Caldwell and was unanimously approved.

Other Business

The Board reviewed various projects throughout the township.

Rebecca Dubber stated that her father, Walt McKenna, had passed. Walt was a BZA Board Member and a member of the Volunteer Fire Department.

Approval of Minutes – December 11, 2024

The minutes for the December 11, 2024 meeting was mailed to each member. Doug Blackburn moved to approve the December 11, 2024 meeting minutes. The motion was seconded by Rebecca Dubber. Motion passed.

Adjournment

Rebecca Dubber moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Brian Caldwell. Motion passed and the meeting was adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
